Large Ocean Mia lots an innovative canvas for prestigious developers
City Beach’s prestigious Ocean Mia estate is offering developers an exciting opportunity to secure two very unique multi-residential lots.
The lots are zoned Residential R30/40 – a rare find in City Beach – and are being offered for sale by tender closing on 5 November 2008.
The two large sites are expected to excite strong interest from specialist high-end developers looking to purchase them individually or in combination.
“These two lots each offer clever developers the opportunity to develop something truly special to fill future demand from buyers for this high quality product in the market,” said Town of Cambridge Chief Executive Officer Jason Buckley.
“Each has enormous development potential and I’m confident the opportunity won’t last long,” he added.
“I expect this to be the last chance to purchase a land parcel of this size and of this calibre within the City Beach area.
“The multi-residential sites will be an important part of establishing the style and personality of Ocean Mia and we’re looking forward to seeing some innovative and exciting proposals,” Mr Buckley said.
“We’re looking for developments that will add to the value and prestige of Ocean Mia itself and help to create a vibrant community.
“Like every home built at Ocean Mia, these multi-residential developments will make the most of the area’s unique beach-side location and ‘feel’,” said Mr Buckley.
Situated close to the city and some of Perth’s most pristine beaches, the lots are also within a stone’s throw of a host of sporting and recreational facilities, cafes, restaurants and shops.
The 2501sqm and 3189sqm lots are situated on either side of Balandi Way and developers are being offered the opportunity to build 11 dwellings on the smaller site and 15 on the larger site which also borders Omarooo Terrace, parallel to the Boulevard.
DTZ selling agent Mal Roberts said he rated the potential of the unique multi-residential development opportunity ahead of any other prestigious multi-residential development in Western Australia.
“This kind of opportunity for modern living in a suburb with the rich traditions of City Beach is genuinely unique,” he said.
“Ocean Mia itself is the only development of its kind in one of the most sought-after coastal locations,” Mr Roberts said.
“We’re expecting strong interest from a variety of developers wanting to add to their existing portfolio of impressive work with a high-quality development that will ultimately offer some of the Western suburbs most exclusive addresses.”
The five-week tender process will conclude at 2.00pm on 5 November 2008.
